MORE

Welcome back to another school year at Finneytown! I’m honored to serve as President of the Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation for the 13/14 school year. Special thanks to Fred Wittenbaum for his past leadership of the Foundation! Did you know that the Foundation was started 27 years ago (in 1986) by a group of people dedicated to “the promotion and advancement of educational excellence in the Finneytown Public Schools?” Little did I know 27 years ago when I moved to Cincinnati from Illinois to start my career at P&G, that my life would be so connected to the Finneytown Local School District – 23 years in Finneytown, 5 years on the Finneytown School Board, 2 kids who spent their entire school experience at Finneytown and graduated from Finneytown High School in 2010 (Bradley) and 2012 (Jennifer). I hope you agree with me that Finneytown is an AWESOME School District and we need to do all we can to help support and strengthen Finneytown Schools!

The Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation has contributed over $2.4 million to the Finneytown Schools since 1986. In addition to the annual funding of teacher grants and student scholarships, the Foundation has funded major renovations to the science labs, Performing Arts Center, and the stadium/track complex. We have and will continue to do great things in the Finneytown Local School District – but we need your help. more
