Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation Annual Membership Drive is underway

Welcome back to another school year at Finneytown! I’m honored to serve as President of the Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation for the 14/15 school year. Special thanks to Mark Besserman for his past leadership of the Foundation! Did you know that the Foundation was started 28 years ago (in 1986) by a group of people dedicated to “the promotion and advancement of educational excellence in the Finneytown Public Schools?” Little did I know that as I grew up and raised my family in Cincinnati that my life would be so connected to the Finneytown Local School District - Several years on the Finneytown School Board, serving in many capacities; most recently School Board President. I hope you agree with me that Finneytown is an AWESOME School District and we need to do All we can to help support and strengthen Finneytown Schools!

The Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation has contributed over $2.5 million to the Finneytown Schools since 1986. In addition to the annual funding of teacher grants and student scholarships, the Foundation has funded major renovations to the Performing Arts Center, science labs, and the stadium/track complex. We have and will continue to do great things in the Finneytown Local School District – but we need your help. more
