Nick Clooney honored guest for
Finneytown Foundation's November
"Evening of Excellence"
Television celebrity Nick Clooney will be the honored guest
speaker for the Finneytown Foundation's 2006 "Evening of Excellence".

The program will include performances by Finneytown HS students ensembles, special presentations,
and remarks from Nick about his recent trip to Darfur with his son George.
All proceeds will support the Finneytown Foundation's on-going building campaign.

Nick Clooney became familiar nationwide in 1994, when he began introducing films on the
American Movie Classics (AMC) cable TV channel. He was already well-known in the Cincinnati
area, where he has appeared in many forms: working as a radio host and a TV news anchor,
hosting an early TV talk show, The Nick Clooney Show, and writing a column for the
Cincinnati Post. He is the father of actor George Clooney and the brother of singer
Rosemary Clooney.
