Contributions to the Foundation

Please consider becoming a partner by making a donation to the Foundation. As a Foundation Contributor, you join a growing family whose donations have advanced the services and programs offered by the Fineytown Local School District. If you wish to designate a program or school for your donation, the Foundation will honor your request.

You may also contact the Foundation to establish scholarships. You can read more about scholarships below.

How to Contribute

The Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation was created to enhance the quality of education in the Finneytown Local Schools by procuring and providing the necessary funds for worthwhile programs not otherwise funded by the Finneytown Local School District. ??Any gift is sincerely appreciated; any amount you can contribute will make a difference.

100 percent of every contribution is used to further our Mission and support the children and teachers in our schools. For your convenience the following giving levels are available, or you may choose to set up a recurring gift.

The Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. The IRS recognizes all contributions as tax-deductible and are tax-exempt to the extent allowed by law. 

The Foundation can accept your tax-deductible gifts of Cash or Check, Credit Card Donations, PayPal Gifts, Corporate Matching Funds, Gifts of Securities or via a Payroll Deduction.

The Finneytown Schools Educational Foundation is deeply committed to providing Finneytown graduates with financial assistance to further their educational experiences beyond high school. The individual scholarships are funded by the generous contributions of Finneytown patrons who have a passion for helping graduates realize their dreams. FSEF manages nearly $750,000 of endowed scholarship money in the following funds:

Types of Contributions

DIRECT DONATION FORM: You can make a tax-deductible gift of cash, property, stock or any asset for which you can obtain an appraised value. If you would like to make a direct donation by check, please print and complete the Direct Donation Form and send it along with your check to the address below.

MATCHING GIFTS: Increase the impact of your donation with a matching gift! Request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

PLANNED GIVING: Leave a legacy to public education and help fund the future of our Classroom Innovation Grants or other Education Foundation programs. You can demonstrate your commitment to public education by ensuring our teachers, students, and schools have the resources they need to maintain a tradition of excellence. Gifts at any level have an impact. Consider a gift of $25,000 or more to create a named endowment fund to provide support for generations to come. Gifts can be restricted to support the Foundation based on your specified preferences.
